No doubt, the weathered look is gorgeous!
And...Annie Sloan has a new book out called
Color Recipes for Painted Furniture and More.
Within its pages are “40 step-by-step projects to transform your home.”
This is one of my favorite projects from the book called
Distressed Armoire. in Chapter Two, featuring French Style.
Annie used French Linen then brushed on a layer of Clear Wax.
Over this she added a mix of Paris Grey and Old White, thinned down with water.
Before the paint was completely dry she brushed on another layer of
Clear Wax and wiped it over with a clean, dry cloth to create a
washed, dragged, and distressed effect.
The inside is painted in Greek Blue...BEAUTIFUL!
Annie’s book is a best seller.
Scoop it up and enjoy the 39 other projects including...get this....
